On Jan. 4th at 12:10pm East Barren Fire Department with Hiseville has Mutual responded to a grass fire at 7500 Edmonton rd. East Barren VFD responded with Rescue 7, Brush Truck 11 and 9 firefighters and Hiseville responded with an Engine, Brush Truck and 7 firefighters. Firefighter Walbert from Edmonton Fire Department also assisted.
At 110 Hollis Thomas Rd Engine 6 with 11 firefighters responded to smoke smell in a house. This happen on Jan. 5th at 8:58pm. NO FIRE found. Hiseville responded MUTUAL AID but got cancelled.
On Jan. 6th at 11:22am East Barren FD responded to a control burn that got out of control. 6 firefighters responded and assisted the home owner and got it back under control without any trucks.
On Jan. 29th at 2:16pm East Barren FD with Hiseville FD as mutual aid responded to a grass fire at 224 Dugantown Est.. East Barren FD responded with Truck 11, Rescue 7, Engine 9 and 12 firefighters. EB1 cancelled Hiseville FD which was responding MUTUAL AID.
On Jan. 29th at 6:38pm East Barren FD responded to a Semi Trailer fire at 650 Coral Hill Rd. East Barren FD responded with Engine 9, Tanker 8 and 11 firefighters.
On Jan 30th at 12:49pm East Barren FD responded to grass fire at 1893 Lecta- Kino Rd. East Barren FD responded with Truck 11, Rescue 7, Engine 9, Medic 12 and 9 firefighters.
On Jan 30th at 1:28pm East Barren FD responded to a MVA (rollover) at 1580 Coral Hill Rd. East Barren FD responded with Medic 12, Rescue 7, Truck 11 and 11 firefighters. EMS 502 and 505 with SO 110 and 115 also responded. Transported 2 Emergency to TJ Samson CH. Air Methods was dispatched but was cancelled by EMS 502.
On Feb. 7th at 5:16pm East Barren Rescue 7, Medic 12, and 14 firefighters responded to a MVA at the 22 mm on the Cumberland Parkway.
On Feb. 7th at 6:35pm East Barren Rescue 7, Medic 12, and 11 firefighters responded to a MVA at the 17mm on the Cumberland Parkway. (Both Accidents was during a 4" Snow Storm)
On Feb. 9th at 2:27pm East Barren Medic 12 and 1 firefighter responded to MVA at 9180 Edmonton Rd.
On Feb. 9th at 6:06pm East Barren Engine 6, Tanker 8 (Cancelled), Hiseville Engine 37 for MUTUAL AID (Cancelled), 13 firefighters from East Barren, and 6 Hiseville firefighters reponded to a Garage fire at 558 Mayfield Mill Rd. This was during snow storm with 4 inches of snow (second storm).
On Feb. 11th at 6:32pm East Barren Engine 6, Tanker 8, Engine 9, Medic 12, 9 East Barren Firefighters and Temple Hill Fire Department as MUTUAL AID (Cancelled) responded to a Chimney Fire at 768 Witty Rd
On Feb. 14th at 10:17am East Barren Fire Department, Temple Hill for MUTUAL AID was dispatched to a Fire Alarm Activation to Mike Cycle World at 62 MacKay Ln. Alarm Company called back "False Alarm" before any trucks was in route.
On Feb 15th at 6:26am East Barren Rescue 7 and 5 firefighters responded to a MVA at 8247 Edmonton Rd.
On Feb. 15th at 1:40pm East Barren Engine 9, Truck 11 and 2 firefighters responded to a grass fire at Will Wheels at 3100 Burkesville Rd. Haywood 3 from Haywood fire department stop and helped also. ( Thanks Haywood 3)
On Feb. 16th at 5:06pm East Barren Truck 11, Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 10 firefighters responded to a grass fire at 5497 Burkesville Rd.
On Feb. 21st at 4:46pm East Barren Rescue 7 and 7 firefighters responded to a COW in sink hole. The Owner with the assistance of some firefighters the COW got pulled out.
On Feb. 22nd at 5:51pm East Barren Truck 11 and 9 firefighters, Hiseville as MUTUAL AID (got cancelled) responded to a grass fire at 6380 Edmonton Rd.
On Feb. 23rd at 12:32pm East Barren Truck 11 and 2 firefighters reponded to a small grass fire at 691 Lecta- Kino Rd.
On Feb. 23rd at 5:56pm East Barren Engine 6 and 1 firefighter responded MUTUAL AID to Temple Hill to Grass Fire. Temple Hill cancelled East Barren.
On March 3rd at 11:00am East Barren Truck 11 and 8 firefighters with Temple Hill MUTUAL AID responded to 540 Spencer Road to a grass fire
On March 3rd at 6:33pm East Barren Truck 11, Engine 6 and 8 firefighters with Temple Hill MUTUAL AID (got cancelled) responded to a grass fire to 3557 New Salem Road.
On March 5th at 9:54 East Barren Engine 6, Truck 11 and 7 firefighters responded to the Penguin Plunge. (GOT LARGE GROUP AWARD, Third year in a row)
On March 6th at 3:22pm East Barren Rescue 7, Medic 12, Truck 11 and 8 firefighters reponded to a Semi-Truck blocking traffic at the 21mm on the Cumberland Parkway. Truck had 3 of the 4 lanes blocked on the Parkway. Had to use the light tower after it got dark.
On March 11th at 5:05pm East Barren Engine 6, Engine 9, Tanker 8 and 10 firefighters with Temple Hill FD as MUTUAL AID (got cancelled) responded to a Garage Fire at 98 H. Miller Road.
On March 12th at 12:03pm East Barren Truck 11 and 3 firefighters responded to Temple Hill FD MUTUAL AID (East Barren got cancelled). To a Grass fire at 1778 Tompkinsville Rd
On March 18th at 10:32am East Barren Truck 11, Rescue 7, Engine 6, Tanker 8 and 8 firefighters responded to a Garage fire at 400 Big Branch road. Temple Hill FD was responding MUTUAL AID but got cancelled.

On May 14th at 6:36pm East Barren Rescue 7, Medic 12, Engine 10 and 13 firefighters responded to a two car MVA at 430 Lecta-Kino Rd.
On May 14th at 9:47pm East Barren Engine 6, Engine 10 and 14 firefighters responded to a fire at the IGA Express at 1485 Burkesville Rd
On May 24th at 6:00am East Barren Engine 9, Tanker 8 and 6 firefighters responded MUTUAL AID to assist Temple Hill Fire Department on lighting striking a house at 129 Roy Settle Rd. (East Barren got cancelled after Temple Hill FD got on the scene and found no fire.)
On May 25th at 4:24am East Barren Rescue 7 and 3 firefighters responded to the Burksville Rd and Kino Rd intersection to Close Burkesville Rd. A Chicken Delivery Truck had an accident at JD Pitcock Rd in Summer Shade fire district.
On May 25th at 8:04pm East Barren Engine 6, Rescue 7 and 13 firefighters responded to a electric pole on fire in a open field on Gene Franklin rd.
On May 29th at 5:23pm East Barren Engine 6, Rescue 7, Truck 11 and 8 firefighters responded to 709 Oscar Gilpin Rd to a Tractor and field fire. Edmonton was requested for MUTUAL AID but, was shortly cancelled.
On June 8th at 10:15am East Barren Truck 11, Engine 9 and 4 firefighters responded MUTUAL AID to assist Hiseville FD on a grass fire at 5868 Coral Hill Rd. (Hiseville FD contained the fire and cancelled East Barren FD).
On June 11th at 7:49pm East Barren Engine 6, Engine 9, Truck 11 and 8 firefighters responded to smoke in the area of 3400 Burkesville Rd. EB4 got on the scene and stated it was a control burn. Cancelled all trucks.
On June 20th at 2:17am East Barren Engine 10, Medic 12 and 13 firefighters responded to a MVA at the intersection of Beaver Creek and Peers Rd. Jaws of Life was used.
On June 25th at 9:24pm East Barren Engine 6, Truck 11 and 6 firefighters responded to smoke in the area of Eubank Rd. EB3 got on the scene and stated it was a control burn. Cancelled all trucks.
On July 1st at 9:02pm Engine 6, Engine 9, Tanker 8, and 13 firefighters also Hiseville as MUTUAL AID responded to a report House Fire across from 4770 Edmonton Rd. EB1 got on the scene and found nothing.
On July 3rd at 1:17pm East Barren was dispatched to a fire alarm activation to assist (MUTUAL AID) Hiseville FD at 280 Big Meadow Rd. Alarm Company called back "NO FIRE" all units was cancelled.
On July 5th at 2:38pm Engine 6 and 8 firefighters responded to a light pole on fire in front of Ben and Elmer tractor sells.
On July 8th at 11:06am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 6 firefighters responded to Rollover MVA at 2270 Burkesville Rd.
On July 8th at 6:36pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 10 firefighters responded to MVA at 430 Lecta-Kino Rd.
On July 10th at 2:47am Engine 6, Engine 10, Rescue 7 and 13 firefighters responded for MUTUAL AID to The City of Glasgow. East Barren Engine 6 and Rescue 7 fill Station 1 while Engine 10 responded to their working business fire. Haywood Fire Department sent 2 trucks to fill station 2 but was called to the scene for RIT Teams. South Barren Fire Department then responded with 2 truck to fill Station 2.
On July 10th at 3:16am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 11 firefighters responded to a Head- On MVA at 1008 Arnett Grove Rd.
On July 16th at 4:37pm Medic 12 and 2 firefighters responded to a NON- Injury MVA at the Intersection of Lick Branch Rd. and Hollow Rd For traffic control.
On July 13th at 5:12pm Medic 12 and 7 firefighters responded to a MVA at 3330 Burkesville Rd.
On July 20th at 8:02pm Engine 9 and 6 firefighters responded to a roll of Hay on fire at 455 Kino Rd
On July 21st at 12:43pm Rescue 7 and Truck 11 and 4 firefighters responded to 455 Kino Rd to Mop up the roll of Hay on fire from the night before.
On July 26th at 10:37am Medic 12, Engine 10 and 7 firefighters responded to a MVA at the intersection of Frank Mills Rd and Old Frank Mills Rd.
On July 30th at 3:37pm Medic 12, Rescue 7 and 7 firefighters responded to a MVA at the Barren / Metcalfe line.
On July 30th at 5:39pm Medic 12, Rescue 7, Engine 9 and 6 firefighters responded to a MVA at Howard Bull and New Salem Rd.
On July 31st at 3:24am Engine 10 and 9 firefighters responded MUTUAL AID to Assist Summer Shade FD on a working warehouse fire at Kingsford Manufacturing.

On August 19th at 8:28pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 3 firefighters responded to MVA at 4983 New Salem Rd.
On August 23rd at 6:19pm Rescue 7 and 8 firefighters responded to a Motorcycle MVA at the end of Old Mayfield Mill Road.
On August 28th at 3:54am East Barren Firefighter EB46 Kevin Poynter was called to Beaver Creek Boat Ramp to recover a truck from Barren River Lake. Kevin is one of the Barren County DIVERs
On August 28th at 4:36pm Engine 9, Tanker 8 and 11 firefighters responded MUTUAL AID to Assist Temple Hill VFD on a Barn fire at 11558 Tomkinsville Rd.
On September 1st at 11:29am Rescue 7, Engine 10 and 8 firefighters responded to a MVA at 1861 Burkesville Rd.
On September 2nd at 11:26pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 10 firefighters responded to a MVA at 7307 Burkesville Rd.
On September 3rd at 2:10pm Truck 11 and 2 firefighters responded to a grass fire at 302 Lecta- Coral Hill Rd. (Hiseville FD was called MUTUAL AID but was cancelled)
September 4th at 1:52 pm EBVFD with Hiseville as MUTUAL AID responded to a House fire at 1873 Franks Mills Road. East Barren responded with Engine 6, Engine 9 and 9 firefighters. Hiseville responded with 1 truck but got cancelled by EB5.
On September 18th at 9:56pm East Barren FD was dispatch MUTUAL AID to assist Hiseville FD to 2231 Lecta- Coral Hill Rd on a House Fire. Engine 9, Tanker 8, Medic 12 and 7 firefighters Responded.
On September 19th at 5:25am EB Engine 6, Tanker 8, and 7 firefighters responded to 322 Beaver Creek Rd. to a House fire. Temple Hill FD Responded MUTUAL AID with Temple Hill 41 and 6 firefighters. Hiseville FD was dispatch for MUTUAL AID but was cancelled before they got in Route.
On September 19th at 12:46pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 5 firefighters responded to a MVA at 9377 Edmonton Rd.
On September 22nd at 9:35am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 4 firefighters Responded to a MVA at the intersection of Quarry Rd and the Burkesville Rd.
On September 25th at 2:26am Engine 6, Engine 9 and 9 firefighters responded to a Truck fire near a garage at 5731 Burkesville Rd. Temple Hill was dispatched MUTUAL AID but was cancelled before they got in route.
On September 29th at 12:05pm Medic 12, Rescue 7 and 6 firefighters was in route to 13810 Tompkinsville Rd for MUTUAL AID for Temple Hill Fire Department on a MVA. But was cancelled before they got on the scene by TH1
On October 7th at 5:06pm East Barren Fire Department was called to 2698 Edmonton Rd for a fire. Turned out to be a controlled burn. All units was cancelled by EB1.
On October 9th at 1:53am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 8 firefighters responded to a MVA at Garretts Grocery on the Burkesville RD
On October 9th at 1:09pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 11 firefighters responded to a MVA at Franks Mill Rd and The Outer Loop Intersection.
On October 15th at 9:42am Rescue 7, Engine 6 and 10 firefighters responded to an Oil Rig on fire at 8040 Burkesville Rd. Temple Hill was call for Mutual Aid but was cancelled.
On October 26th at 1:03pm Truck 11, Engine 9, Tanker 8 and 10 firefighters responded to large Corn field on fire. Edmonton fire department and Hiseville fire department was called for MUTUAL AID But was cancelled.
On October at 10:04am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 6 firefighters reponded to a MVA at 5984 Burkeville RD.
On November 4th at 8:45am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 6 firefighters responded to 4983 New Salem rd to a MVA.
On November 7th at 3:10pm East Barren got call to a Fire Alarm Activation, Got Cancelled before any trucks was in route.
On November 10th at 11:53pm Engine 6, Engine 10, Medic 12, Glasgow Ladder 2, Glasgow Engine 3, Glasgow Engine 1 and 11 East Barren firefighters responded to a Shed fire next to a house at 701 New Salem Rd.
On November 11th at 6:37am Rescue 7 and Medic12 responded to a MVA at the intersection of Frank Mills and Verteran Loop.
On November 11th at 11:33am Engine 6, Engine 9, and 6 firefighters responded to shed fire at 701 New Salem Rd.
On November 12th at 10:12am Rescue 7, Truck 11, Engine 9 and 10 firefighters responded to Hay fire at 1718 Lecta-Kino rd.
On November 13th at 4:29am Engine 6, Rescue 7, Tanker 8 and 15 firefighters resonded to a Shed fire at 1900 Burkesville Rd.
On November 13th at 11:02am Engine 6, Rescue 7, Tanker 8, Engine 9, Engine 10, Truck 11, Medic 12, and 18 firefighters responded to a Trash fire near a mobile Home at 635 Arnett Grove Rd.
On November 15th at 10:25am Medic12 and 8 firefighters responded to a MVA at 430 Lecta-Kino Road.
On November 15th at 11:31am Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 6 firefighters, Responded MUTUAL AID to 12630 Tompkinsville Rd to assist Temple Hill FD on a MVA. Temple Hill FD cancelled East Barren FD.
On November 15th at 3:52pm Engine 9, Tanker 8 and 13 firefighters responded to a House Fire at 2061 Wells rd for MUTUAL AID to Assist Temple Hill FD.
On November 17th at 7:16pm Engine 6, Truck 11 and 9 firefighters responded to a trash fire at 209 lot 6 Little Acres Trailor Park.
On November 21st at 9:24am EB 39 (James Seeley) assisted Temple Hill FD and a MVA at 7620 Tompkinsville Rd.
On November 21st at 6:16pm Medic 12 responded to a MVA at Garretts Grocery on the Burkesville Rd
On November 22nd at 3:13am Rescue 7 and 3 firefighters responded to a MVA at the 16mm on the Cumberland Parkway.
On November 27th at 11:51am 11 firefighters responded to a MVA at 5066 Burkesville Rd.
On November 29th at 3:13pm Engine 9 and 11 firefighters responded to 206 Jimeson Way to Assist Hiseville FD (MUTUAL AID) on a Garage fire.
On December 4th at 2:50pm Truck 11, Tanker 8, Engine 9 and 11 firefighter responded MUTUAL AID to 314 Antioch Church Rd. to assist Temple Hill FD to a Field Fire.
On December 11th at 2:07am Engine 9, Tanker 8, and 6 firefighters responded to a House Fire at 5116 Temple Hill Rd. for MUTUAL AID with Temple Hill Fire Department. TH1 Got on scene and report nothing showing, He cancelled East Barren FD.
On December 12th at 10:11pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 9 firefighters responded to a MVA near 4267 Lecta- Kino Rd
On December 16th at 3:44pm Rescue 7, Medic 12, Engine 9 and 13 firefighters responded MUTUAL AID to assist Hiseville FD on a Rollover MVA with 2 being ejucted. Kentucky 6 and Kentucky 8 air ambulance was used to transport PT's to Louisville U of L.
On December 23rd at 11:32pm Rescue 7, Medic 12 and 10 firefighters responded to a MVA at 3568 Burkesville Rd. |
